Wendale Barn is a beautifully renovated, compact, detached building, the perfect place to relax on the edge of Cheddar. With private patio, decking & stunning views of the local lake & Glastonbury Tor. Private, romantic, the ideal getaway, with a double bed upstairs & sofa-bed in the living room; although it is open plan, so the shared space isn’t private. Access is via a series of steps up the hillside, some garden terraces are up to 1.1m high without guardrails, there is also a shallow pond.

A quiet luxury getaway

The Cider House is a converted barn tucked away in the village of Pilton, Somerset. It is a large airy and light space. It has a private courtyard and garden, 24 hour under floor heating and hot water. There is a top quality superking bed, excellent for having sleeps in, with hand pressed sheets. To augment heat there's a wood burning stove. We supply and lay a first fire for you with enough logs to get it going after which you can purchase a sack of seasoned logs from us for £10.00 a bag.

The Wheelwrights Workshop

The Wheelwrights Workshop is located at the end of an old barn which has since been converted into this lovely self catering cottage that sleeps two. Please note currently we are offering this cottage at a reduced rate as outside the main door of the cottage there is another old barn which is yet to be converted and due to that there is a little clutter. Rest assured though once inside the cottage you will not notice it and the bedroom window has views of the Tor our only cottage that does.

This is a great place for bird watchers and wildlife lovers, with excellent opportunities for walking and cycling right from the front door!

Orchard Cottage

A beautifully converted barn with a contemporary feel next to a 17th century cider house set in the middle of 12 acres of gardens and ancient orchards. The Ox House is a converted milking parlor that has been lovingly restored to a high-quality. Self-contained with a large kitchen, dining area, lounge with log burner and comfortable beds, you couldn't possibly wish for more. We offer a variety of amenities to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible. We are a family run smallholding with alpacas, donkeys, sheep, and chickens and are able to offer advice and ideas on where to go and what to see during your stay in Somerset.

The Piggery at Cradlebridge Farm

We are pleased to offer our refurbished conversion which in its previous life was an open barn, pig sty and engine house. It has been updated to provide a comfortable setting suitable for a relaxing getaway. Guests have their own entrance hall, large sitting room with wood burner, snug, dining room, and fully fitted kitchen. Spacious bedroom with shower room. There is a private outside seating area and garden, but you may choose to explore the open countryside which is all around.

The Pigsty

The Pigsty is a modern, comfortable barn conversion situated in an area that used to be part of the farmyard, opposite our farmhouse cottage and a pretty mill with a view of the village on the hillside where the sun sets. Little gated courtyard with table and chairs to enjoy that view. Walking distance to the village shop and local pub for drinks. Great footpaths to explore the countryside, you need a car to make the most of your stay. Maximum of two guests Check in from 4pm

The Cow Shed

The Cow Shed is a bright and airy one bedroom holiday cottage/annex. It boasts a private entrance, hall, double bedroom, luxury shower room and comfortable loft living area with fitted kitchenette. The Cow Shed is set on a small farm with horses, chickens and goats alongside the river Frome. The cottage is great as a base to explore the area. We are a stones throw from the local attractions of Longleat, Bath, Wells, Stourhead, Alfred’s Tower, Cheddar and Glastonbury.
