Cosy bach in Matarangi

223 Waimaire is a quaint bach just 200m from one of the safest and most beautiful beaches in the Coromandel and only 3 hours from Auckland by car. Matarangi is a lovely destination which has access to walks and safe cycle paths through native forests next to the ocean. It has a small shopping centre and is only 20 minutes from either Whitianga or Coromandel town. It has a stunning 18 hole golf course 5 minutes away and there are 2 good restaurants, also between 5 and 10 minutes away. It is equally beautiful in summer, when swimming and watersports are appealing or winter, when it's much quieter and very cosy in front of the log fire.

The Pearl of Whakatiwai. A completely restored Bed/kitchen/dining room with separate shower and toilet. This house was built in the 50's and so we have lovingly recreated the whole 50's vibe for your enjoyment. Right on the edge of the Firth of Thames you can lie in bed and see the views that go on forever. A great little kitchen with new oven and fridge, plus all the tools you need if you want a "foodie" get away. We do not have a TV, but great WiFi. Great fishing right on your doorstep.

This beautiful ocean view property is a couple of minutes walk to Kuaotunu Beach and Luke's Kitchen, a well known local restaurant. It is good for couples, friends, solo adventurers and people with pets (1 dog only). It is an easy 15 min walk to the shops and 20 mins to the beach. Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach and Whitianga are all within easy reach.
