Our cabin's a win-win

In 1834, it was a chicken coop nestled between the house and barn. Today, it's a cozy cabin just a stone's throw away from the villa and venue. From the private, rural setting to the rustic decor, you'll feel as though you've traveled back to simpler times. It's unique, refreshing and oh-so tranquil. If you're looking for a little hush and a lot less rush, you're going to fall in love with this little home away from home. While you're visiting, get the scoop on how we transformed this coop.

Private entrance. You have a completely updated/ remodeled private space on the walk-out level of my home. Open floor plan, a carpeted bedroom with KING bed, a full-size memory foam sleeper sofa, a living room, mini-kitchen, laundry and bath. The mini-kitchen has a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, crock pot, toaster, table/chairs. The desk, with woods view, is a perfect place to reflect, read, and write. Many extras. Snacks. Quiet residential area of Dubuque. I live upstairs with my dog.

Mississippi River house has everything you need

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. The river is right across the street and so is the walkway the walkway will take you all the way to the other end of town beautiful walk along the river. Richmond‘s café Great place for breakfast. The brewery has igloos to sit in outside just two blocks from the guest house. Located just a half mile from town, but secluded enough to be a private hilltop house retreat. The deck overlooks downtown with a backdrop of the Mississippi River! Enjoy the outdoors hiking at the Palisades State Park with miles of trails just a short drive away, kayak or fish one of the many rivers or lakes, stroll through downtown for antique and gift shopping, or visit a nearby winery. After a day of adventures, relax in the spa tub or enjoy a glass of wine on the private deck.

Galena Country Getaway

Brick walkway leads to the cedar deck with Adirondack chairs overlooking the large backyard. Enjoy dinner out on the deck and roast marshmallows over a bonfire at the firepit. The dark sky provides excellent stargazing. Kitchen features full-sized refrigerator, cooking utensils and a variety of spices. Spacious bathroom with a waterfall-style shower. Owners are next door. River and marina short block away within walking distance. Grocery store half a block away within walking distance. Downtown less than a mile. Galena about half hour. Iowa 5 min away and casino in Iowa 20-25 min. Palisades State Park 5 min away. This is a cozy cottage with use of deck and grill, and full amenities to cook in house if you like. The Riverbottom (Tiny Home 2)

Have you ever wanted to stay in a Tiny Home but haven't had the opportunity? Now you can stay in a custom built Tiny Home right along the mighty Mississippi River in Bellevue Iowa! These Tiny Log Cabin Homes feature all the comforts of a standard home including Heat/AC, Kitchen, Bathroom, living room and sleeping loft. Each Tiny Home sleeps 4 adults with a queen bed in the loft and a pull out sofa in the living room. Outside is a private picnic area.

This cabin is located on the serene backwaters of the Mississippi. It is the perfect destination for a weekend getaway, or ideal spot to rent for fishing tournament‘s or duck hunting. This cabin is situated next to pool 13, and there is plenty of space for multiple vehicles and boats to park. Only half a mile away from the loading dock and close by to an Illinois State Park, our cabin allows Guests to enjoy nature in a relaxed setting.
