Casa de las Aves: Toucan Room with outdoor shower

Our small hotel is perched on the edge of beautiful Laguna de Apoyo. It is surrounded by tropical gardens, birds, and nature. We have a beautiful two floor massage space overlooking the laguna. Plenty of room for yoga and hammocks to relax in. We also have a small restaurant offering complimentary breakfast, as well as lunch, dinner, small plates and drinks all day. We offer a vegetarian and vegan menu, and we work with a local farm to provide fresh, organic ingredients whenever possible.

Laguna de Apoyo is like no place else on Earth! Come swim in the crystal clear, thermal waters of the Laguna! Our home is a peaceful retreat located in a quite area of the Laguna. You will feel like the only one around and still be close to several restaurants and a small store. Our home has ample space to accommodate up to 12 people, as well as a large outdoor terrace, where you will likely want to spend much of your time! There is a direct walkway down to the beach area and warm water.

El estudio de Mark en Finca Malinche

Mark’s Studio – a stand alone and large, 36 square metre (360 ft2) accommodation for two with natural stone floors, queen bed. Features en-suite, snack making facilities (electric kettle, toaster, sink and bar fridge) plus a breakfast counter with stools. The Studio has views of the Laguna and garden and is only a moment’s walk from the Rancho, the pool, and the Laguna shore. Monkeys are often spotted in the trees beside its broad flagstone terrace with outdoor table.

Welcome to Casa de las Aves. Our space is unique at the Laguna as a small guesthouse with a private beach. One side of the property abuts conservation land which is filled with birds, monkeys and butterflies. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Our restaurant serves healthy, local, vegan and vegetarian food. A delicious breakfast is included. Enjoy tropical fruit smoothies, with or without the famous Nicaraguan rum on one of our patios overlooking the laguna.

La Camita, Finca Malinche, Laguna de Apoyo

La Camita – a cozy, light and bright accommodation for two with natural stone floors, comfy double bed and access to the pool bathroom (shower, basin, separate toilet) just across the path. This room is only a stone’s throw from the Rancho and pool. La Camita now features a second set of doors leading to a private deck with a hammock and chair, and fabulous view of the Laguna. Features: fan, screens, double-entry doors.

LA GIRALDA CLUB HOUSE

Our beach front property offers the best of the best in Laguna de Apoyo. Feel at home and feel free to use the property as you wish. You will enjoy your own private apartment with access to resorts and restaurants at walking distance, or stay at home and cook your self a lovely dinner. Kayaks are available, as well as a small swimming pool.

Gitsa Havansa at Finca Malinche

Independent apartment of 34 square meters (340 sq ft) with tile and stone floors, bedroom with queen bed, bathroom; kitchen and adjacent living area, patio with panoramic views over the property, the Malinche Garden and the Lagoon. Monkeys frequently pass over the front door and occupy the trees near Gitsa-Havansa.
