Welcome to The Best Dam Cabin! We're located on the San Marcos River, just a short drive to Austin and San Antonio. This hand-built tiny cedar cabin is nestled inside an early 1900’s cotton gin. Includes unlimited river access and the use of paddle boards/kayaks with your stay. Whether you want to get away and read a good book near the river, go fishing or play games with the family, there's fun for everyone of all ages. The property has plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces for the whole family to be together or get quiet time if needed. Quiet times from 10:00 pm-10:00 am please. We would love for you to visit and have a wonderful time but no hooting and hollering outside after 10:00 pm. We respect our neighbors rights to get good rest.

5 minutes to downtown & 5 minutes to the tubing companies is just the start. This old-school farmhouse is sitting on ~1.5 acres next to the Blanco River. The spacious country setting makes it hard to believe the proximity to restaurants, bars, rivers and so much more. Relax and experience the secluded environment while playing music on the outdoor surround sound system, grilling & playing cornhole. Oh, and don't forget about the 85" outdoor TV for some evening sports & movies :)
