Newly renovated log cabin with amazing sunrise views from a ridge above Waterfront Bay & the main channel. Halfway between Guntersville and Scottsboro. Just 1 1/2 miles to the boat launch and store at Waterfront. Places close by-Goosepond, Cathedral Caverns, Cavern Cove shooting range, G'ville St. Park, zip-lines. 8x40 covered deck, patio w/firepit, gas & charcoal grills, corn hole, darts, two hot tubs, five kayaks, one canoe w/gear, and a trailer. I designed this home to have 2 separate living spaces with private entrances on opposite sides of the house. The front is the vacation rental entrance accessing the entire first/lower level. My entrance is on the back side of the property. My family owns part of Lake Shore Island located on Guntersville Lake. There are 5 houses on our property scattered over 8 acres. My home and vacation rental is about 3 football fields from the shore, up the hill, providing beautiful views of the lake.

3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage with screened in back porch and great view of the lake. Open floor plan with views of the lake from the living room, kitchen, and two bedrooms. Incredible outdoor fireplace that is perfect for night time gatherings. Large front and back yard for outdoor activities. Fully furnished and beautifully decorated. Meriwether Cabin is in the center of a 200 acre former farm, which is now a lakeside recreational area, with a large RV campground, woods and cabins. It is a totally renovated classic mobile home. This cabin is pet friendly but only if you acknowledge that you will be bringing a pet and pay the $75 Pet Fee. The cabin is adjacent to our “Nivendale at Riverview Campground” Cabin, also on Airbnb. The two can be rented together, for larger groups.
