Red House - Tiny House Oceanfront Resort

This lovingly crafted tiny house on wheels has 2 lofts, one double bed accessed by ladder and the other has stairs leading up to a queen bed. On the main level living space, there is a double pull out sofa allowing the Red House to accommodate 6 people. The kitchen is fully appointed, with a 3 piece bathroom including a flush toilet, as well as Wifi, smart TV, infloor heating and AC. Kayaks & SUP’s, BBQ shelter use are included with your stay. Wild Rose Cottage

This cottage is centrally located between Baddeck, Inverness and Cheticamp. It is approximately 30 min each way. It features a lovely, large back yard with firepit area and mountain views. The Portree bridge is a short walk down the road, which is a popular swimming spot. The river runs along the opposite side of the road. There are lots of local beaches, hiking trails and golf courses in the area. The property also has direct access to the highland snowmobile/atv trails.

Off-grid riverfront guesthouse

This is a special riverfront setting directly on the Cabot Trail. Use it as your launching point for Cape Breton adventures of beaches, waterfalls and hiking. Located only 10 minutes away from the village of Cheticamp and the Gypsum Mines Trail, 15 minutes from the Cape Breton Highland National Park, and 30 minutes away from the Cabot Cape Breton Golf Resort, this perfect spot has a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, a small living room, one bathroom and a private 6 person hot tub.

Swallow Bank Cottage #5, two bedroom on the River

Two bedroom cottage located in Margaree Centre. Our four, full housekeeping cottages sit along the Margaree River, just minutes from the Cabot Trail. Cottage 5 has a queen bed, two twin beds, and a sofa bed in the living area. The covered front porch is the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring beautiful Cape Breton Island. Guests can check-in after 3pm. Check out is 11am.

Our little Garden Shed is a rustic guesthouse on our family property, perched above the beautiful Margaree Valley and just off the Cabot Trail. It's a cozy, rustic space with a composting toilet, solar shower, woodstove heat, and lots of charm — best suited to guests looking for a simple, countryside stay.
