Old Hauenstein Brewery - Ground Level 1

Stay in a real brewery built in 1891 where they brewed the Hauenstein beer until 1969. Remodeled in the authentic rustic industrial style of the era, rent the lower level unit with 2 romantic rooms, a parlor, coffee bar and bathroom. The private upper garden has a fire pit, cellar and dining area surrounded by forest and fire-flies. There is No Kitchen. The building is surrounded by an underground creek, so it stays cool naturally. It’s a 7 min walk to Schell’s brewery & 4 min drive downtown.

Hidden Northfield Cottage

A private, peaceful space 2 blocks from St. Olaf College and less than 1 mile from downtown and Carleton College. Our location is convenient, cozy and unique being an old ginseng farm, the duplex has a rural feel and is tucked away from the street. Enjoy a patio space to grill at while soaking in the outdoors. We have a fully equipped kitchen, but the Ole Store, a Northfield favorite, is just down the block. Dogs are allowed when added on the reservation and pet fee has been paid for.

This rustic gem has a lot of charm and character including slanted and squeaky floors and a claw foot tub in the upstairs bath. The warmth and coziness of this home will create a feeling of peacefulness that you will not want to leave. Enjoy the outdoor fire pit from spring to fall.

Spacious and private guest home (no shared living space) with separate entrance, off-street parking. King size bed, additional single bed in the living room. Single rollaway and a portable crib are also available. Full kitchen with dishwasher and all necessary cooking utensils, off-street parking (two car limit), private patio with grills, living room with gas fireplace, work station, guest Wi-Fi, and onsite private laundry with laundry soap, softener, and dryer sheets.

Whether you're planning a trip to New Ulm to visit family, partake in one of our cities many festivals or looking for a quiet retreat, we'd love to have you be our guests in this newly renovated cape cod home! The home can sleep 8 adults very comfortably, but the nightly pricing is set for two occupants and additional guests are $30 per person. This allows you the option of staying in a fully furnished home at a reasonable rate whether your group is large or small.
