Beautiful 1930s apartment #1

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. The unit is located in a historic building in downtown Jackson, very close to a host of restaurants and shops. The building was constructed by the Lindy family, starting construction in 1938 and finishing construction in 1941. Throughout the building we have hung diplomas left behind by the family that built it. While the building has housed many people over its lifetime the original design and a lot of the original materials remain.

The Hughie is an upscale, upstairs 2 bd/ 1.5 ba vibe that was curated with the love of downtown living in mind. The large arched picture windows, original to the building, are dramatic and delicate at the same time. The lush furnishings boast comfort & style. Pick a Master bedroom, there are two. Both with the most comfortable mattresses, that will have you wanting to stay in bed; If it weren't for the breakfast nook with fantastic views calling your name. Stay a night & you'll be hooked!

The Waffle House: Historic Full Downtown Apartment

We call this space the Waffle House because it’s the historic home of Waffle House founder Joe Rogers. The space is a full apartment with kitchen, laundry, living room, bathroom and bedroom. The apartment is located on W Deaderick and is just a short walk to Jackson Walk Restaurants , Farmer's Market, and Hub City Brewing Taproom. I am the brewmaster at the local brewery, and my fiancé works as a reporter for the local newspaper. We live downstairs with our two dogs, Layla and Morri.
