Yurt camping in Doe Bay area

Relax in a spacious yurt on the side of Mount Pickett next to Moran State Park. Less than a five minute drive to Doe Bay Resort. Twelve miles past Eastsound on the Horseshoe Highway and 20 miles from the ferry landing. The yurt has an outdoor kitchen space with a camp stove and most of the utensils for preparing and serving food. There is an outdoor fire spot and a picnic table for outdoor relaxing and dining. There is also an outdoor shower and outhouse with a composting toilet.

Walk, bike, paddle, drop anchor, or roll up at our private beach, no bank waterfront house. Our house includes 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, 2 decks....and a privately owned beach with spectacular views of Mt. Baker and the Twin Sisters. The cabin has Wi-Fi internet access. NO PETS! Please be aware that during 2 weeks between April 26 - May 11, the car ferry is in dry-dock, so there is NO CAR ACCESS on/off the island. Foot Ferry Only

We strive to provide our guests with the same beauty, security and peace we have enjoyed on the island for 30 years. We encourage guests to enjoy the property, visit the chickens, and walk the orchards and flower & vegetable fields.

The journey down the many winding stairs is not for the faint of heart, but is completely worth the trek once you find yourself in your own private haven.

We would love to welcome you to our Garden Gate Suite. This is a 2nd story room with a bathroom. There is a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. With a completely private entrance you have access to a garden space and views of Bellingham. Seasonal fireplace and AC unit as space gets quite warm in the summer season.
