If you fancy a fire pit we can supply a wheelbarrow full of wood etc for £5 Llandeilo Pottery & Art studio on site. It is possible to hike to Carreg Cennan & the black mountains from here. There is an Alpaca sanctuary within a 10 min walk across footpath in fields. If you Paraglide I can give knowledge of the local sites. Fridge & Microwave for your own use in room.

A self contained secluded luxury Shepherds Hut sleeps two near the Brecon Beacons national park with delightful valley views. Situated on a small working farm eight miles from Junction 49 at the western end of the M4. Enjoy the seclusion of the farm and walking opportunities in the area as well as the local attractions in East Carmarthenshire of castles, stately homes, gardens, local villages and towns. Further afield are the beaches and beauty spots of Swansea, the Gower and Pembrokeshire.

We have a huge variety of wild flowers and bird life and our dark skies offer perfect opportunities for star gazing. We are rural but not isolated and surrounded by castles, beaches and the National Botanic Gardens is just 15 minutes away. Further out are the Gower and Tenby beaches and walks and waterfalls of Brecon.

Kitchen equipment and everything you need to self cater is provided. You’ll find a selection of teas, fresh coffee & seasoning for cooking. In the mini fridge, there are some continental breakfast items for you to enjoy.

The ground floor boasts a large open plan dining and lounge area and a period style log burning fire (Logs not supplied). The fully equipped modern kitchen leads out to a well-kept enjoyable garden that backs onto the river Twrch.

Based in the Brecon Beacons National Park we are located on the base of a mountain with good access through a woodland track. Good walking through the Amman Valley with lots of attractions in easy reach. The local town of Ammanford has good facilities including shops and swimming pool. Cinema in Brynamman, golf courses and a riding centre within easy reach The house has a decking area with BBQ and an enclosed yard which is ideal for dogs.
