Unique Rustic Romantic Hideaway

Ready to get cozy and enjoy the charms and unique character of this rustic hideaway? As its name suggests, ‘Minnow’ is a ‘small’ 18th century worker's cottage in the historic Cornish town of Lostwithiel. It’s rustic up-cycled décor alongside modern additions such as underfloor heating, wood burner and roll top bath, makes it a rare haven for couples looking for a romantic and relaxing escape. A perfect retreat after days spent exploring everything Cornwall has to offer. We are dog friendly too!

Small cottage, historical town!

Lost Cottage is typically a small, granite & slate, Cornish cottage. You’ll find it right in the heart of the Medieval town of Lostwithiel. This ancient stannary town dates back to the 12th century & it's one of the most vibrant & lively communities in Cornwall. Car parking in Lostwithiel is free both on-street & in the public car parks. Lost Cottage, a lovely, comfortable, 2 double bed cottage, perfectly placed for exploring the beautiful town & surrounding countryside, & the rest of Cornwall.

The Annex, Double Bed, Parking, Quiet.

The Annex is a private, self contained space adjoined to the rear of our house. It has it's own parking space, a standard double bed (195cm length bed wall to wall), shower room and private outdoor seating area. The mainline train is 5 minutes walk from The Annex. Lostwithiel also has a selection of pubs, a fine dining restaurant, Indian and Chinese takeaways, independent shops, riverside and woodland walks all within walking distance. The Eden Project is a 10 minute drive away. Adults only.

Cosy Cottage with Sunny Courtyard Garden

Lime Kiln Cottage is a cosy, traditionally built stone cottage with a sunny courtyard garden and parking for two cars. The cottage is less than two minutes walk from the tidal River Fowey where there is a slipway suitable for launching small watercraft. A level 5 min walk will take you into the town where there are many historic buildings and a variety of independent shops, several pubs, restaurants, cafe's and a co-op. Lostwithiel Railway Station is on the mainline from London to Penzance.

The Burrow

The Burrow is a quirky and snuggly little bolthole. Small, well behaved dogs are welcome. (No large breeds. Maximum cocker spaniel size, PLEASE respect this). Enjoy the fenced, enclosed garden with views across the fields. A short walk from the local dog friendly pub. kitchen, lounge with woodburner (logs supplied). Smart TV, wifi, king size bed, (electric blanket in winter), air fryer, shared washing machine/dryer, parking and storage for bikes etc. Private hot tub, (bring flip flops!)

Rural Barn Conversion, Boconnoc, Lostwithiel

Set on the edge of Boconnoc Estate and the outskirts of Lostwithiel you will find our large 1 bedroom converted barn. We are quite centrally located in Cornwall. South coast beaches can be found 5 miles away with the north coast being around 20 miles away. You will find so many things to do including walking, sightseeing, fishing, visiting many types of attractions. We offer a warm welcome and as much or as little interaction as you prefer. You will find yourself surrounded by nature.

Little Lea is a cosy, newly renovated studio apartment, with a mezzanine level double bed, compact kitchenette, bathroom with shower and free parking. A 7-8 minute walk down the hill will get you to the centre of the historical town of Lostwithiel where there are a variety of independent shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes and a small supermarket and the beautiful River Fowey. Lostwithiel Railway Station is a 5 minute walk, and is on the mainline from London to Penzance.

This property is set in the historic town of Lostwithiel close to all amenities. Detached annexe stylishly decorated ideal for a single person or couple looking for a base for walking or exploring Cornwall. Countryside views and airy light rooms make this space feel bigger than it is whilst being cosy and relaxing with wood burning stove in Winter. Off road parking with easy level access to the property and level access into Lostwithiel.

Enjoy open plan living, tastefully furnished with cosy spaces, an open fire & expansive river views. Kayak tour/hire centre with café & the Fisherman’s Arms pub are within 50 yards. Within a short drive you'll find many lovely local beaches & Fowey with its excellent selection of shops & restaurants.

The Shire House - Blissful Joyful - Four Bedrooms

The Shire House is grade II listed and dates from 1780. Situated in the heart of Lostwithiel and with the river Fowey just 30 steps away. This is a Georgian townhouse with a walled garden full of sun. Expect lots of character, with contemporary design, and with up to the minute amenities. The minimum stay is usually 3 nights but do contact me if you are only looking for 2 nights as I may be able to accommodate you.

Lovely self contained space within walking distance of ancient Capital of Cornwall, and the river and mainline railway, lots of things to do and see. Fabulous base for lovely walks along the gorgeous Fowey River and up the valley to Restormel with easy access to the port of Fowey (short taxi ride or 10 minute drive) and the town of Bodmin, and on to the rest of Cornwall.
