Set in peaceful, beautiful surroundings beside an old mill, this former bake house overlooks a tranquil wooded valley, waterfall and millstream. Situated not far from the town of Balleroy which has a bar, a supermarket and two boulangeries. Nearby is a forest with walking & cycling paths. NB The accommodation is on three floors, the main floor is the living/dining room, with views of the valley and waterfall. A haven for wildlife including kingfishers. The bilingual English owners live on site.

Le gîte est parfait pour visiter Bayeux, les plages du débarquement, le Mont St Michel. Séjour en campagne dans tour douillette noyée dans un univers de verdure en limite du village qui offre par ailleurs tous les services . Tout confort Près du jardin un espace verdoyant dédié à la détente vous est réservé, vous y trouverez des fauteuils, table ,barbecue, plancha, parasol etc... Vous disposez d'une grande cour pour stationner votre véhicule. Le gîte est fermé de dec à fin fev chaque année.

It is an intimate one bedroom retreat with central suspended fireplace, modern underfloor heating and water heating from a modern air-air heat pump. Luxury and comfort are assured with dishwasher and washer/dryer, and the setting is completely private for the perfect romantic getaway.
