Our home is set in nature on the banks of the River Shannon, with peaceful views of the water and countryside wildlife all around. You can easily walk to the village shops and pub while still enjoying the calm of a rural escape. We aim to keep everything simple and comfortable so you can feel at ease - whether you’re passing through for a night or staying longer to explore the area. I am happy to recommend local walks, riverside stops, or cosy places to eat nearby.

Peacock House

The Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name. After being left dormant for 80 years it was lovingly restored three years ago. These days it is a bright and cozy cottage offering tranquil views of mature trees and park land. There is private access to forest walks along the Doney Stream just outside the doorstep.

About 300 years old Byre transformed to a cozy holiday home. Located on the backyard of our home and attached to a working farm. Meals are not included, but there’s a full kitchen in the apartment and there’s a shop just beside our house. Our backyard and bbq area is also in your use.
