Step back in time with this original 1890s Appalachian solar powered off grid cabin. The cabin has been renovated with all the modern conveniences: solar-powered and includes hot water, gas stove, full bathroom w/ shower, refrigerator, sleeper sofa folds out to queen size bed. With each stay fresh towels and linens are furnished. Kitchen, hot/cold kitchen sink, K cup friendly coffee machine and more! Covered front porch with bench and 2 rockers. Off the porch is a picnic table and gas grill.

Your stay includes the upstairs of our beautiful home: 2 huge bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a dining area, and a balcony. (Your hosts live downstairs, so we share an entrance.) No kitchen or laundry access. Welcome to Bob’s Bridge, our Hidden Valley Hideaway. We hope you’ll enjoy sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee in the morning and watching the mist rise up from the stream the bridge crosses. Don’t be surprised if you see a flock of turkeys or a handful of deer wandering around. They appreciate the stone bridges and walls built by hand by Bob, who loved all nature.
