Our cabin is one of a kind. Isolated with easy access, it is located outside Leadville-10,200 feet, between the Sawatch and Mosquito ranges, with stunning views of both. Licensed through the Land County Land Use License #2026-P8, allowing 4 guests only. Please DO NOT bring additional guests. No cleaning fee. Winter guests: Easy access to town. The county plows the road, still we recommend AWD or 4WD for all winter travel. Please read “other things to note” before booking.

Massive and Elbert (Colorado's highest peaks) can't be beat. Three blocks to downtown Leadville. Ride, bike, hike, and ski right outside your door. Gear Down is located in a three unit building. We have lots of room to spread out, 2 kitchens, 2 sets of full-size washers and dryers, an outdoor deck, and a lot of space to be together with friends and family.
