Vallakot Farm Guesthouse is a small guesthouse, located in Northeast Iceland in the middle of the Diamond circle. It is situated in a green and peaceful valley called Reykjadalur and the village Laugar is only a few kilometers away with a restaurant, grocery shop, a swimming pool and other amenities. Vallakot Farm is both a farm and a guesthouse and a place that has been in the family for decades. We have three studio apartments built in 2017 and a cabin that we finished renovate in June 2023.

Moreover, in each apartment you will find two bathrooms with showers. Everything newly built in a modern but homie style. It‘s central location is optimal to get the most out of your vacation. Being surrounded by stunning icelandic nature and opportunities for outdoor activities.

The house has 6 bedrooms with two 160 cm beds, three 140 cm beds and one 130 cm bed. The kitchen is well equipped. There are two washing machines in the house and two dryers. There is a small stream in front of the house, and the house is located in a beautiful valley with a river. It takes 30 minutes to go to Húsavík, Myvatn, Dimmuborgir and it is 40 minutes drive to Akureyri. 10 people can stay in the house.

Nice and homie little room in a timber cottage, perfect to unwind and experience the calm and quiet countryside, we are very central to most attractions in the area, and a great location to spot some northern lights during winter. Very little light pollution is in the area. You have everything you need with a small kitchenette and a mini fridge. Full private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer

Cosy cottage in the countryside

Hvoll is a farm with horses, sheep, 2 dogs and a cat. It is located in Þingeyjarsveit by road 854. It is a perfect location if you want to enjoy the countryside and visit some of the beautiful places in north Iceland, like: Lake Myvatn (30 km away), Húsavík (27 km away), Goðafoss waterfall (17 km away) and Dettifoss waterfall (68 km away). Garður sumarhús stendur í vestur hlíð Mánafells með mjög fallega sýn yfir Skjálfandafljót sem rennur hljóðlega framhjá. The summerhouse is standing in very beautiful and scenic place up in the west side of Mánafell with Skjálfandafljót flowing smoothly past underneath
