Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. Jun-Sep, 5 night min; off peak 2 night min stay. Hot tub not available. Sleeps 10 adults 2 kids.

Close to Culver Academies (18 min/10 mi), Lake Maxinkuckee (13 min/7.4 mi), Lake Manitou (27 min/16 mi), and the historic Tippecanoe River (5 min/3.5 mi to Germany Bridge or 5 min/1.6 mi to Aubbeenaubbee Landing in Leiters Ford). We keep our prices low for 2 people, so please note that while we have space for up to 6 guests, each additional guest will incur small additional charges.

This unit offers beautiful views of Lake Max from the living room, primary bedroom, & entire 3rd floor. Private lake access is just steps away from the front patio and it's just a short walk to town, the park, public beach, & Culver Academies. We love hosting (& kids) and our condo is well-stocked with most everything you need to start making your Lake Max memories with friends and family.
