Enjoy the wonderful wildlife which include bald eagles, osprey, beavers, ducks and many more. If you’re hungry, you can order delicious pizza from a real Sicilian in town or fine dine at the Accomac Inn which is just a 5 minute walk down river. Perfect road for a walk, run, or bike ride. This place is truly a relaxing home away from the everyday hustle. Please come enjoy. Close to major highways and sits between Lancaster and York (20 minute drives).

It was originally a grist mill that used water from the west branch of the Little Conestoga Creek to power a wheel used to grind flour. The Cottage boasts a farmhouse style kitchen, a dining room filled with natural light, a large living room with a fireplace, three beautiful bedrooms, a front porch, a rear yard for the kids to play in, hot tub and private patio, as well as access to nearby trails and the river park.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The entire home has been newly renovated with thoughtful touches and an eclectic feel. Conveniences include a wood stove, sleep number mattress, Viking gas stovetop/oven, deck facing river with propane grill, a covered carport entry, and a 180* river view at the top of the property! Enjoy the coziness of the BirdHouse. Our kitchen has the necessities to cook. We provide olive oil, spices, salt and pepper, farm fresh eggs, coffee filters, and trash bags. For the bathroom we provide starter shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper, and of course the towels. Linens provided also. Enjoy the courtyard area with its gas fireplace and seating area. Cook on the gas grill and enjoy a meal at the bistro table. Please come and relax!
