Connect to the Tammany Trace by way of a bike path that is located in front of our property. Mandeville Trailhead is 1.2 miles away and has bike rentals, farmers market on Saturdays and free spring and fall concerts. New Orleans is just 45 minutes away.

The Yellow Cottage on the River (w/ Dock Access!)

Our quaint yellow cottage sits on a quiet street where you have plenty of space to hear the cicadas and breathe in the Louisiana air. We're situated directly on the Amite River and this cottage is perfect for anyone who loves to fish! We provide a place to dock your boat, and can even recommend the best routes along the river that we often take ourselves. Please note that we do not allow pets at the cottage so get your fur babies a sitter and come on down.

Big Branch wild life refuge offers spectacular sunrises, sunsets, wildlife and even a glimpse of bald eagles. Lacombe Bayou offers beautiful waterways and a traditional Louisiana experience minutes away from Lake Pontchartrain Due to licensure restrictions, no more than six guests are allowed to occupy the property.
