Dog friendly mid terrace beach front cottage with seals lounging on rocks in front of the cottage, if you are lucky you might see dolphins passing or an otter run along the beach. A haven for nature lovers. Views of Gigha, Jura, Islay & NI(weather dependent😂)Lots of beautiful upcycled furniture created by the owner makes this cottage by the sea stand out. We have owned next door for 35 yrs. It has been fully refurbished by ourselves with personal touches and items that reflect the surrounding coastal landscape. The DRUM at Dunmore is a stunning elliptical house with a sloping roof and high ceilings, clad in charred larch with orange window frames and painted wooden floors. Designed by architect Roderick James and built by a crack team of smashing local chaps, the Drum is a perfect bolt hole for two. It has a wood burning stove and a big squashy velvet sofa, floor to ceiling triple glazed windows and is nestled in woodland on a small estate (complete with castle) and just moments from the sea.
