The Studio in the Sky

From artist studio to guest house, this little building is an ongoing project, with so much to offer. Sitting on higher grounds just behind the main house, it has its own garden with a view to take your breath away. It’s a bit of a rise to get there but totally worth it. If you keep climbing across small fields and a strip of forest, you’ll find yourself on Slievenamon’s mountain trails. Downhill from here lies Kilcash village, pub, church, more forestry and the ruins of an old castle

We are located in the Suir Valley and the South Leinster Way, nestled in the foothills of Slievenamon and the Comeragh mountains. The Cottage is a cosy base with beautiful mountains and beaches just a short drive away. Easy access to Kilkenny, Waterford, Dublin and Cork this a great location to discover Ireland's Ancient East.

Big Mick's Cottage

Beautifully restored cottage located on a working farm in peaceful Kilkenny countryside between Mullinavat, Piltown and Mooncoin. We are within 30 minutes drive of Waterford, Kilkenny and Clonmel. Fantastic views and long quite walks are promised. A stones throw from the beautiful Curraghmore estate, Comeragh mountains with the spectacular Mahon Falls and Coumshingaun Lake and Slievenamon. The Deise Greenway and Copper Coast beaches are easily accessed nearby.

Situated on the grounds of the Woodford Dolmen Hotel on the banks of the river Barrow. This two bedroom town house offers an idyllic location close to the banks of the river Barrow. Ample free parking with the amenities of the hotel-you need not worry about cooking or drink driving. Town centre is 3 minutes by car or 25 minutes walking. Full kitchen facilities available which makes this house ideal for longer stays. NOTE identification essential at check in.

"Town House" is located just a short walk from Borris House and the Step House Hotel. The property is surrounded by beautiful parkland, river walks and scenic countryside views. Despite the peaceful setting, the house is very central with pubs, shops, bank and church all within walking distance. Guests enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, outdoor space, friendly local community and convenient street parking. The house is is an ideal base for exploring the area.

Aunty Shea's Getaway

Tigín (tigeen-small house) with two bedrooms and a kitchen/living room area. This is a small cosy space with solid fuel heating. The bedrooms have two king size beds. The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, microwave, etc. The toilet/wetroom has an Triton T90SR electric shower. There is a TV with saoirview channels. The tigín is beside our house. Less than 20 minutes from Kilkenny city and very close to Ballykeefe amphitheatre. 5 minutes drive to callan.

Restored 2 storey grain barn, with all the original beams and exposed stonework. 10 minutes from Callan. Kilkenny city is 25 minutes away and Cashel is 35 minutes. Clonmel 25 minutes. Down a short cul-de-sac laneway with lots of trees and pleasant countryside. We have cows , sheep and playful lambs in the Spring. ! The bedroom area upstairs is divided into two bedrooms. You will be assured of a friendly warm welcome. Plenty of birdsong!
