The Spruce Nest

Stay in a historic home in Old Town Steamboat Springs built 1907. We have added an entry, dining room, master bedroom and bath and powder bath. However, we have kept the original two-story home in tact, similar to the early 1900's. We even used original wood from the walls to accent the exterior. Private trails for hiking, biking, xc ski and snowshoe. 4WD or AWD preferred travel in winter. The heat is furnished by a wood stove. Solar powered lights. The composting bathroom is 20 feet away and the shower house a short walk. Water is supplied. Blackstone grill and French press provided.

An authentic, rustic, ga s fireplace heated, log cabin with modern amenities. The cabin has a furnished kitchen/dining area, living room, bathroom and two bedrooms. There is a nice covered deck with outdoor seating and plenty of sunlight. The cabin backs up to Zirkel National Forest and the Elk River flows right across the road. The Evergreen Cabin is a perfect setting for a quiet getaway. There is Wi-Fi in the cabin and a small tv that you can stream from or watch dvds.
