Borgir – the land and the farm house The farmhouse Borgir is located only 10m from the ocean on a land of more than 400 hectare of unspoiled nature, surrounded by hills on the west and ocean on east side. The wildlife is very vivid with seals, sheeps, horses, arctic foxes and various birds all around. Walking routes are available for your private encounter. Borgir is ideal place for hiking, kayaking, meditating as well as other outdoor activities. Borgir is also a good base for day trips to the Westfjords. This is a fabulous place for children and a great place to relax.

The house is located in untoucted nature next to a field on Brennistaðir farm, about 20 km from Egilsstaðir in the direction to Borgarfjörður eystri. The farm is sheep farm. We live about 400 m distance from Ásinn. Fully equipped kitchen, small sitting room, spacious bathroom (washing machine and dryer), 4 bedrooms. Good looking view, cairns, bird live, streams, family-friendly environment in peaceful nature.

The house is at a perfect spot in southern Iceland where you can drive to the main attractions in the area such as Fjaðrárgljúfur, Vatnajökull, Diamond beach, and more. In Kirkjubæjarklaustur are common necessities such as groceries, restaurants, a swimming pool, and more. This home is a good fit for a family or a group of 6-7 travelers. It is located on a large land where guests are free to roam around and explore.
