Camp Boutique - Black Sand Beach

This land, Loftsstaðir-Vestri, has been in my family for generations. It used to be a farm until recently. Now we have decided to open a picturesque luxury tent hotel. We will have 10-20 tents over the summer on the field where we used to harvest hay. Each tent is furnished and decorated differently. There are nothing but farms around, there is a 5 min walk to a black sand beach where the bird life is amazing. This is the perfect place to experience real Icelandic nature in a unique manner.

Gunnu Hús by Meðalfellsvatn ( Our lakeside cottage nestles at the foot of Medalfell mountain and the garden leads right down to the lake. The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

The property is a modern 4-bedroom villa on the bank of lake Apavatn & river Hólaá. Kayaks, fishing poles & permits included for guests. (Fishing is only permitted during summer). The house is 184 m2, with a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace with a hot tub & a seating area facing the lake. It includes free WiFI, smartTV´s, sauna, washing machine & dryer. It is perfectly situated in the Golden Circle. It is 10 km from the town Laugarvatn where there are restaurants & Fontana Spa.

A unique and peaceful stay at a private house located next to the black sand beach with great views over Vestmannaeyjar and Eyjafjallajölkull volcano. The house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, open living and dining room area. Outdoor terrace, private entrance and free parking. Fjósið-Hallgeirsey is the perfect place to stay to explore the south coast, located 23 km from Hvolsvöllur (restaurants and grocery store) and only 10 min drive from the main road (15km).

Báran, Studio by the sea

By the sea and scrapyard of Seyðisfjörður we offer our newly renovated studio space with a great view over the fjord, but still just a 8 min walk to the town center. It offers a king size bed and a single lounge bed with a pure icelandic wool mattress in the living area for a third person if needed. It is simple, lovely and unique. Note that we live in the other part of the house so even though the studio is private with private entrance a family lives in the other part of it.

A wonderful cozy cabin surrounded by trees in front of Álftavatn lake. Amazing sunsets, sunrises and stargazing and with a bit of luck watching northern lights dancing above. This private space is a warm and cozy peaceful place, perfect for couples, families and friends. The house has a spectacular view of Álftavatn lake and mountain. Only 20 min drive from the Golden Circle and other tourist attractions. If you love nature and peace this is the place for you!

A charming country home near a national park

A cozy and atmospheric family country house designed and built by the owners with dedication and love, with additional help from their children and friends. Arnarstapi, is a small fishing village with a beautiful dock where local fishermen keep their boats. The house is situated only a short walk from the scenic cliff side near a beautiful national park with the majestic glacier Snæfellsjökull.

During the summertime a gas grill will be placed on the summer deck which you can use. it‘s just about 5 minutes walk to a swimming pool and just about 2 minutes walk to the grocery store and liquor store. In the same neighborhood is e.g. the Icelandic Seal Center and the wonderful restaurant Sjávarborg.

Brimilsvellir small cabin

This private small cabin (ca. 26 qm) is located at our farm Brimilsvellir. You have a magnificant view to the ocean, beautiful mountains and our horses. There are small cooking facilitys in the cabin with a fridge, water cattle, toaster, plate and microwave. You have very great conditions to see northern lights from september until april.

Kaupfélagið

Þetta litla fallega hús við sjóinn er nýuppgert. Það var notað sem kaupfélag í "gamla daga". þá komu blndur siglandi alls staðar að og verlsluðu vörur og varning. Sumir komu ríðandi, aðrir á bátum. Við húsið er ennþá hægt að sjá leifar af gömlu bryggjunni. Einstök upplifun í einstöku umhverfi, náttúran í öllu sínu veldi
