The ferry departs from the fishing port of Árskógssandur every two hours and only takes 15 mins.

Í bústaðnum er ísskápur með litlu frystihólf, eldavél, ofn með örbylgjuofni og sjónvarp. Borðbúnaður er fyrir fjóra. Heitur pottur og gasgrill er á verönd.

The house has 6 bedrooms with two 160 cm beds, three 140 cm beds and one 130 cm bed. The kitchen is well equipped. There are two washing machines in the house and two dryers. There is a small stream in front of the house, and the house is located in a beautiful valley with a river. It takes 30 minutes to go to Húsavík, Myvatn, Dimmuborgir and it is 40 minutes drive to Akureyri. 10 people can stay in the house.
