Located on a quiet street close to Rototuna Village, this guest suite is perfect for singles, couples and business travellers. The room is spacious, has a queen bed, fold out couch if needed (linen for this $15 extra charge) and a new, stylish bathroom. We have a free carpark space available for you, as well as there’s free roadside car parking. Note: this room does not have cooking facilities. It is also more suitable for those with their own car, unless they would like to use the bus.

The Apartment is self contained with separate entry and carport and plenty of parking for visitors. Apartment is cleaned to recommended COVID19 standards. Karearea Cottage is on 4 acres with a horse and pony next to the cottage. We are central to the Waikato, minutes from the Waikato Expressway/SH1 - approx. an hours drive to Auckland, west coast surfing/fishing beaches like Raglan, 90 mins to east coast Coromandel's world renowned beautiful beaches, a short drive to Hakarimata bushwalks with 800 year old Kauri, Golf Course, Hot Pools, Huntly Speedway, 20 minutes to Hamilton, Hampton Downs Raceway, and lovely cafe's a short drive.

Nestled at the foot of the Hakarimata range, the cabin is completely private and separate from the hosts residence. It is the perfect retreat, a place to break up your journey or as a base for the many tourist, cycling or walking activities the Waikato has to offer. The cabin has a queen-sized bed with ensuite. The kitchenette has gas hobs with small fridge, kettle, toaster, and all basic utensils. Milk, tea and coffee are included. There’s wifi and a TV with Chromecast.

The unit is self-contained, quiet and private yet close to the Waikato Expressway, 7 mins from Hampton Downs, 30 -40 mins to Hamilton & Thames and less than 1 hour to Auckland airport off peak. Continental breakfast supplies are included for you to use if you wish. Microwave, toaster, frig and electric jug
