Enjoy the beautiful views on the verandah, stroll down to the river or have an early morning run. The cottage is an architect designed, open plan, one bedroom unit with partly open plan bathroom. Morning sun pours through expansive glass panes, a free standing fireplace and solid wood floors help keep it warm in winter. A 20 minute drive gets you to Nottingham Road shops and restaurant

The farm is now fully off Eskom power so load shedding is a distant memory.

Our Forest Falls Treehouse is built at the confluence of two streams. Perched amongst trees, birds are constant visitors while shy nyala often make an appearance. This self-catering cottage can be reached after a short walk in an indigenous forest down steep stairs built into a cliff face. Meals can be purchased through prior arrangements.

Paddocks Cottage on Newstead Farm nestles in the rolling hills near Nottingham Road. Here you can find dams for boating and bass fishing, a tennis court and 25ha of indigenous forest! This rural smallholding farm with Nguni Cows and retired horses has a significant history from the 1840's and gives you the chance to experience the true peace and tranquillity of the countryside, but yet is very central to top restaurants, golf courses, wedding venues and schools. This Bush Lodge styled cottage is only 3km away from Midmar Dam Resort and is geared for a relaxing stay. Privately positioned inside an enormous, well established Midlands Garden, it shares a boundary with River Goose Estate. The verandah overlooks sweeping lawns, with a braai area set under the African sky. The king bed is comfortable and the shower pressure is excellent. Guests have access to walks in the garden, the swings, an outdoor massage table and outdoor shower.

Woodsong Cottage - Self Catering

The cottage is situated in The Dargle Valley bordering a forestry estate and overlooks the uMngeni River. It is nestled in the trees next to the main house on Woodsong Farm, which is a small life-style farm where you are free to explore the surroundings. Enjoy walks to the small dam with a picnic basket and bird-watch, take photos, enjoy some casual fishing and wild-swimming. The cottage is not suitable from small children. The cottage is not pet friendly.

Comfortable Self Catering Garden Cottage in an "English Country Garden". Located in Howick Village in the Natal Midlands, close to Midlands Meander, Midmar Dam, Berg wihin 40-70 minute drive and Beach approximatley 1 hr's drive. Karkloof Adventures, close by, including excellent Cycle Tracks! Cottage equipped with TV, Internet and wifi. Washing machine available for guest use. 2 Electric blankets available.
