Háafell Lodge

Welcome to Háafell Farm where we raise sheep, keep horses and have one friendly dog. Our private guest house is located 200 meters above the farm, up the mountain at 130 meters above sea level. It is a recently built (2020), 100 square meter, modern “turf house style” house. Háafell means “The High Mountain” and has a long river that cascades down its side with several tiers of waterfalls. It is a five minute walk to our canyon and it is possible to take a cold bath in one of the waterfalls.

Mirror Cabin (Mystic Light Lodge)

Welcome to the breathtaking landscape of West Iceland. The mirrored vacation home is surrounded by untouched nature, is located directly by the sea and offers a fantastic view of the fjord and mountains. With a bit of luck, you can watch seals and sea eagles and many other birds right from the front door. This is the perfect base for exploring the area (Snæfellsnes, Westfjords, horse riding, whale and bird watching, etc.). You can also experience spectacular sunsets and the Northern Lights.

Nónsteinn is one of three cabins that we own. Nónsteinn, Grásteinn and Grýlusteinn. Our cabins are a perfect getaway place to enjoy the nature at it fullest while relaxing with a breathtaking view. Perfect for newly weds, couples or friends. Kirkjufell - Kirkjufellsfoss - Snæfellsjökull - Water cave - lava fields - black beaches - bird life - whale watching - Mountain view - northern lights - sunset , wonderful restaurants and so much more that you can experience here or near by.

Berg 1 . Horse farm life

Berg farm is located in one of the most beautiful places in Snæfellnes and one of the most hidden places there. However, just 5 minutes drive to Kirkjufell and Kirkjufell waterfall. And 7 minutes drive to Grundarfjörður town. The cosy cottage is located at Berg horse farm behind the famous mountain Kirkjufell. Very private place. Magnificent natural beauty and birdlife characterize the place. Great place for photographers. Northern lights clearly visible at Berg horse farm.

Hvammur 2 Bjarg Cottage with a private hot tub

Bjarg is a summerhouse in Bjarnarfjordur, 25 km from Hólmavík. Excellent location for travelling to North/South Strandir or Westfjords. The house stands by the river that runs down the valley. It is a quiet place an excellent place to see the northern lights. Swimming pool and geothermal hot tubs are located in Laugarhóll about 1 km from the house. Outside the house is a fire place, surrounded with trees. Good for quiet evening under the sky and aurora borealis.

Eyri seaside houses north, with great sea view.

Eyri Seaside Houses is a cozy, warm and new guesthouse with a great ocean view on our small horse farm. We usually have horses at home, and if you like, you can contact us and we’ll let you pet them with us! We’re located in Hvammstangi but still very private, with only the ocean and landscape in view. There are a lot of birds at the beach, and there’s even a chance to spot seals. Occasionally whales enter the fjord, but you’ll need a lucky day to see them.

Svansholl Apartment 3 - Supreme Studio

Spacious, stylish and warm apartment in the countryside. Studio apartment 3 (sleeps 3) has a private bathroom, kitchenette with stove, senseo-coffee machine, fridge, microwave, water-kettle and a toaster. Free Wifi and parking. Shared entrance with Apt 2. The farm has a natural hot-spring, small forestry and a blooming greenhouse well worth visiting. Also, Svansholl is located next to Hotel Laugarholl where you can buy breakfast, dinner or pool-access.

Spectacular view over Steingrímsfjord and the island Grímsey. Lovely cottage close to Drangsnes. The cottage has two bedrooms, both have a double bed and a bunk bed over the bed. Six persons can stay in the cottage. Bathroom with a shower and washing machine. The kitchen is well equipped with stove, microwave, fridge/freezer and cutlery and tableware. The untouched nature and birdlife is amazing in this area.
