Larkspur Cabin Vallecito CO-Family & Pet Friendly

The mountains are calling! The Larkspur cabin & bunkhouse are the perfect Vallecito escape. Located just north of Vallecito Reservoir. Cabin: 4 beds, 1.5 baths (5 guests). Bunkhouse: 1 bed & fold mattress (2 add’l). Marina is 3 miles away, trails less than a mile. This cabin is in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle & bustle. Easy access to activities, a peaceful night’s rest, a book by the pellet stove or create new memories around the fire pit, enjoying s’mores with friends and family!

Vallecito Mountain Refuge

This unique cabin sits on 11 acres directly bordering the San Juan National Forest and features a Private Fishing Pond, Mountain Streams, Fields of Wildflowers, and Mountain Views. Proximal to Vallecito Lake, it is a perfect place for a back to nature vacation where you can relax on a covered deck, paddle a canoe, fish on your own glassy pond, encounter a variety of wildlife, gaze into an endless starry night, and enjoy the crystal clear water and cool fresh air of Colorado Mountain Living.

Victorian Mansion (Walk to Downtown)

2,750 sq ft Victorian Lake City home 10 min walk to most shops and restaurants downtown. Large comfy beds, BBQ, fire pit, fully stocked kitchen, and tons of board games. Remodeled 2024. Plenty of room for friends and family with 3 master suites (each with private bathrooms), a kids room with 4 bunk beds, and two large living rooms. Property is on .5 acres allowing plenty of parking. Oversized 2-car garage with ~6 additional parking spaces outside for OHVs, trailers, and other vehicles.

Grimes Creek Retreat A-Frame

Take it easy at this tranquil getaway in the Weminuche Wilderness. Just 18 miles from Durango at the north end of Lake Vallecito, this cozy A-Frame is sweet to wake up in with the amazing views of the tall pines & deer. Grimes Creek runs behind it during spring and early summer. The creek is great for digging up worms for fishing or collecting in your bucket! Gaze at the Milky Way and roast s’mores! The Keva contains washer, dryer, chairs, bikes & hammocks. Volleyball also available.

Cabin 15

This cabin has a private wall that divides it from the cabin next door. Fully contained and private access. Our own little Oasis in the center of beautiful and remote Lake City. You can walk to many restaurants and shops in just a few minutes. Charcoal grills and picnic tables throughout the property for you to enjoy an outside picnic. This small cabin is quaint and comfortable with all amenities. Occasionally there is live music at the restaurants nearby that ends 9-9:30pm

Red Fox Retreat : a charming homestead

Welcome to the Red Fox Retreat, a log cabin on 2 acres in a mountain “neighborhood” (with red fox). There are four bedrooms (one detached in a little back cabin) and three bathrooms (one is detached). If you do NOT need to use the detached extra bed and bath, please let me know so my cleaners can schedule their time accordingly. Cleaning fee remains the same regardless of its use. 🐶We love dogs but please select that you’re bringing (up to two) due to a $100 total fee.

The newly constructed 2 bedroom, 2 bath, and kitchen unit has its own private front and side entrance with easy parking. The home borders San Juan National Forest on 2 sides. Hiking trails on the property with wildlife sightings of turkey, deer, fox, and others. Walking distance to Rocky Mountain General store.

Backcountry Basecamp 4

Apartment with full kitchen, king bed and also a trundle bed (two twins), laundry , 65” tv, bathroom with shower, and a big covered back porch with table and chairs. There’s a nicely landscaped private area just off the porch. Plenty of parking. You are right across the street from the visitor center, movie theater and post office and walking distance to downtown. You can drive your atv’s to the alpine loop.
