One of our 2 boutique, self-contained rooms set in the grounds of a Grade II listed cottage in the heart of Ashdon village, 10 mins away from Saffron Walden and 30 mins from Cambridge. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with lovely local walks & places of interest. A warm welcome at the village pub. The Globe’s Flat

The Globe is a CAMRA Award winning, wet sales only, real ale & live music pub in the the medieval wool town of Clare. The flat is directly above & has it's own front door to stairs leading to kitchenette with fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle & toaster, bathroom with power shower, sitting room & 2 connected bedrooms. Dogs are welcome, but must be pre-booked. Expect noise from the pub whilst open! We shut by 11pm every day except Sunday when we have live music from 2pm - 5pm, then shut at 7pm.

A stunning shepherd's hut in a beautiful lakeside location. Set at the back of a working farm & equestrian centre the hut is well-appointed with modern decor. Visitors will have the use of the hut, stunning firepit & BBQ. A beautiful private wood-fired hot tub is attached for your exclusive use. There is also a sauna a few steps away. The lake is well fenced, secure & very private. Visitors are welcome to fish in the very well-stocked specimen Carp lake, with multiple fish approaching 40lb.
