This cute little self contained studio cottage is situated in our back garden surrounded by a lovely garden and fruit trees. It has been beautifully decorated and is very well equipped. At the back of the cottage in a private fenced off area surrounded by grape vines is a spa pool for you to enjoy a romantic evening under the stars or just soothing those tired muscles. Complimentary pastries or muffins, fruit bowl, chocolates, tea, moccona coffee or plunger coffee, milo, milk & bottled water.

There is so much to experience in Hawkes Bay and at the end of the day, relax and have a glass of wine on the large deck and enjoy a soak in the spa. We are 3km’s from the heart of Havelock North and in a semi-rural location; on the main arterial road into the village. The cottage is fully self-contained and on separate grounds to our main house, which is on the adjoining property. There is even room for a caravan (with external power point)

Although young children are welcome, please be aware that my property is not really suitable for young active children and is not fenced from the neighbours or the busy road. There are vast views through to the Marine Parade, Te Mata Peak and across the city. Upon arrival you can either check yourself in with a lock box or we are happy to let you in if we are home. Nestled amongst the trees and overlooking the Mangarau Stream, this stand alone studio offers privacy and relaxation after a busy day of exploring Hawkes Bay. With Te Mata Peak on the doorstep and local wineries a must visit, the Little Shoehorn is a perfect place to base yourself whilst exploring the beautiful region.
