Driftwood Cabin - a quiet escape on Haida Gwaii

The Driftwood Cabin is a brand new (May 2025) 320 sq ft cabin on a sunny property on Tow Hill Road, 10 minutes drive from Masset. Giant driftwood posts, a hot outdoor shower, and large windows are some of the unique features you will enjoy while staying here. Modern conveniences include a ceramic cooktop, a heat pump and fast wifi, while rustic amenities include a red cedar outhouse. Across the street you will find expansive beaches and a beautiful river for beach combing, surfing and fishing.

Maple House

While our townhouse may be similar to others in the area, what sets it apart is the warmth and care we put into making it a comfortable and welcoming space. We focus on creating a cozy, clean environment where guests can feel at home. While it is not a beachfront property, the location is unbeatable—just minutes from local stores, beaches, and some of the island’s best spots, making it a great base for exploring Haida Gwaii! Comes with Starlink satellite wifi for those who are working remotely.

It feels warm here. This open suite gives you a space large enough to sprawl out in without losing the cozy softness of the cottage by the sea. The open concept keeps you connected with only the bathroom being separate. The kitchen is minimal, but includes a mini fridge, induction hot plate, air fryer / oven, microwave and sink. The plush, dark chair will fold down to accomodate an extra guest if the bed's capacity has been reached. There is yard access which abuts the bay for weather watching.

Ocean front tiny cabin

Relax and unwind at this unique, tranquil getaway. Our tiny cabin is situated on ocean front facing Hecate Strait. We have miles of secluded beach where you can enjoy the sun rises and ocean tides. The tiny cabin has everything you need to make your stay comfortable: a wood stove, heater, a double bed, kitchenette, barbecue and a fire pit. There's a separate full shared bathroom with an outdoor private shower. Plenty of space to put up a tent or we can make up a mattress on the floor for kids.

This cabin might not be for you...but if it is you'll love it. 5 minute walk from the beach. Set on the Chown river, 10 minutes from Masset, tucked away out of the wind. Stylish, pet friendly, cozy little cabin. Ideal for surfers who want access to the beach and do yoga or for a couple craving a romantic getaway. 1 bedroom and a loft, sleeps up to four people. Oceanside bliss while relaxing at The Blue House.

At the Blue House, guests will enjoy a close-up view of the ocean from inside this recently-renovated home-away-from-home, complete with the relaxing sounds of gently-crashing waves and long, drawn-out sunsets that make Port Clements famous. Located just a block from the long dock, a popular place for fishing and crabbing. North Beach is a 40-minute drive away where guests will find the islands’ most popular surfing and swimming destination, and a 20-minute drive from the community of Tlell.

The Aerie Beach Cabin

Enjoy the beach with a 180 degree ocean view. perched atop the sand dunes the Aerie features west and north facing windows allowing you to see the surf almost anywhere in the cabin. The Aerie is a state of the art off-grid cabin featuring indoor bathroom with compost toilet and heated shower. For heat this cabin has thermostat controlled hydronic base board heaters and a wood stove for secondary heat or romantic evenings. The Aerie is the closest you can get to the beach!

The Roadhouse

The Roadhouse is a cozy off grid cabin located steps from North Beach in the Tow Hill community. Nestled in a towering spruce forest and close to all the natural action, you'll enjoy off grid living with solar power, hot water and a newly built composting outhouse. This cabin is located on a homestead with other cabins nearby but each one is private and well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable visit to North Beach. Our property is 16km east of Masset.

Stay in your own private house just steps from the beach in the community of Tlell on Haida Gwaii. House is situated on 15 acres of mostly forest with a small creek running through the back yard, a two-minute walk from Tlell's Crow's Nest cafe/grocery store. The Tlell Beach House can accommodate up to 8 with the sofa bed, and suits smaller groups as well.
