Across the street is our 7 mile park bordering the lake with walking/bicycle trails, playground, picnic areas, basketball, 2 miles from Superior Courts & historic downtown.

This quiet, charming home on a private lake is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Located only 25 minutes from downtown Huntsville and 30 minutes from Cathedral Caverns State Park, your bnb is a blend of serenity and proximity. The aesthetic of the cabin is nostalgic and vintage; meant to transport you to mid-century. The goal of the lake house is to unwind and step away from the hustle bustle. Please note: this private lake is for trolling motors and paddles only, no gas powered motors permitted

Lake Shore Cabin-sleeps 6

I designed this home to have 2 separate living spaces with private entrances on opposite sides of the house. The front is the vacation rental entrance accessing the entire first/lower level. My entrance is on the back side of the property. My family owns part of Lake Shore Island located on Guntersville Lake. There are 5 houses on our property scattered over 8 acres. My home and vacation rental is about 3 football fields from the shore, up the hill, providing beautiful views of the lake.

Nivendale Cabin - at Riverview Campground

Our new hand crafted Nivendale cabin uses cedar, poplar, oak, pine and driftwood harvested from our 150+ acre lakefront property. The unique rustic mock treehouse design has a large raised deck with an outdoor tree trunk window seat. Set among massive shady trees, it is beautifully furnished. Guests can enjoy our large adjacent campground shoreline with a swimming pier, and boat launch and canoe use at no charge. Recently featured in our local paper, there is no cabin quite like this.

Brown's Creek Cottage - park up to 3 boat trailers

This lake view cottage is walking distance from Civitan Park, Brown's Creek launch, a Mexican restaurant and a grocery store. The driveway is accessible from the road and alley, which makes it ideal for parking up to three pick-up trucks with boat trailers. It has two TV's, one in the living room, and one in the master bedroom, plus high speed WiFi. The screened porch is furnished and provides a great spot to relax and enjoy our wonderful north Alabama evenings!
