The Nissen

The Nissen is a spacious, light filled two bedroom holiday house overlooking the historic town of Castlemaine, aptly named for its resemblance to a World War II Nissen Hut. Enjoy the comfort of a wood fire and split system, fully equiped kitchen, and expansive views from the open plan living area. Wonderfully private and secluded considering its convenient central location, and featuring all modern appliances. This is the prefect location for bushwalks, mountain biking, winery visits or the other wonderful attractions this area has to offer. This cottage suits singles or couples (infant). This private cottage has all the modern amenities you need. Outside you can find a bath tub , BBQ, and seating. Inside there is a woodfire (provided w/ wood), queen bed, TV, fully equipped kitchen incl. coffee machine. Bathroom w/ shower.

Our guest suite very comfortably sleeps four and includes a lounge room, a well-equipped kitchenette and access to a communal full kitchen. Views extend across the ecovillage property to the surrounding bush. The centre of town, including the Castlemaine train station and a fantastic selection of cafes, restaurants and cultural attractions, is just a 15-minute walk.
