'Entim’ means ‘forest’ in Maa. While we tick the box as a log cabin in the woods, we are part of peri-urban, dynamic Nairobi. The verandah sits on the edge of Malewa Forest, a private, vestigal, botanical treasure-house of indigenous plants and trees. Furnished with love and fully-equipped with solar support systems, rain water harvesting and a vertical kitchen garden, the house has 3 ensuite bedrooms, 2 fireplaces, a grand piano and an extensive library of books.

The house is comfortable and built in European style with lots of wood. On clear days, we can see Mt. Kilimanjaro from our large compound.
