Aptly named Casita de Tierra (Earth in Spanish) for our dedication to creating an eco-conscience space inspired by New Mexico’s extraordinary landscape. From the handmade Alligator Juniper headboard to the bamboo bed linen, at Casita de Tierra we are committed to providing an unparalleled Sustainable, Local, Organic, and Whole (SLOW) experience each and every time you visit. Private Casita at the Desert River Farm

We are located on a 2.75 acre homestead property just south of Albuquerque in a small agricultural community. It is a perfect retreat space for those looking to get away but stay close to amenities. We live in an 1890 adobe home that shares the property with the casita and we have quiet and friendly neighbors. We have a handful of fruit trees, a hoop house where we are growing vegetables, and a wild 1 acre field. The property is fully fenced with private parking right outside the casita.

This cozy little cabin has been remodeled to accommodate a small kitchenette and features a claw-foot bathtub, Wi-Fi, Roku TV, baseboard heater, and an additional double bed in the loft. The rental is on the El Morro RV Park Property on NM State Highway 53, and is nestled under Stunning sandstone formations and surrounded by Pinon, Juniper, and Ponderosa Pine. Elk, deer, fox, raptors, and songbirds are frequent visitors to the park.
