Large Vega Lake Colorado Real Log Cabin

Open year round, this spectacular 5300+ sq ft log cabin/lodge is a 1-hr drive from Grand Junction Airport. Nestled in an aspen grove overlooking Vega Lake, the cabin sleeps 17 people (kids included) and parks up to 8 vehicles. Wildlife abounds and the lake is full of trout (some up to 5 lbs). Outdoor equipment is offered free of charge (see list below) to enhance your stay. An expansive covered deck has a propane grill for BBQs and there is an outdoor fire pit for fireside evenings.

Fruit and vegis can be found at local farmers markets.

The Grand Mesa is beautiful! We are located at 10,200' in elevation. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SNOW ON THE GROUND THROUGH MAY AND INTO JUNE. We have a total of 9 cabins for rent. We are across the street and a short walk to two lakes, beautiful scenery, hiking trails, XC skiing, atv-ing, snowmobiling, canoeing, mtn biking, and great fishing! We rent boats, stand up paddle boards & snowshoes. We also have snowmobile tours and rentals. There's something for everyone!

The Guest Cabin Suite at Windflower Ranch, on Fruitland Mesa in Western Colorado, offers peace, quiet, and comfort. Enjoy the views of our beautiful pond right outside the back deck with your morning coffee! Although small, it is completely equipped with a full kitchen, bathroom, instant hot water, and laundry. Paonia is a short two minute drive, 5 minute bike ride, or 15 minute walk away. We hope you decide to come stay with us!
