The Sheepcote, our brand new spacious shepherds hut, is based in the Kent High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It sits in its own south facing half acre garden with fruit trees, silver birch and a young oak tree. Outside there’s plenty of parking and an area with a bench, table and chairs where you can relax and enjoy the countryside, watch the buzzards fly overhead and in the evenings listen out for the soft hooting of our resident owls! Its the perfect place for a romantic break.

The Apple Store

The Apple Store is a beautiful and meticulously clean converted agricultural building that sits in the lovely gardens of a 16th Century house. Perfect for a staycation and set in a peaceful, rural location, the property is approximately 1.5 miles from Marden village and .75 mile from Hush Heath vineyard. Ideal for visits to local National Trust and RHS properties like Sissinghurst Castle, Leeds Castle and Great Dixter. Trains from Marden station to London run all day and take less than an hour.

As well as Bewl water, Bedgebury Pinetum, fruit picking & plenty of National Trust properties on the doorstep, you won’t be short of things to do during your stay.

The Hopper Hut self-contained accommodation

The Hopper Hut originally served as temporary accommodation for hop pickers. It used to house up to four families from London on their working holidays. Today, following extensive restoration, the unique square building welcomes visitors once again. The Adorable Hideaway is situated in the generally quiet farmyard of a thirty acre organic smallholding, a mile from Bodiam Castle. People said I would never find a place like this in South East England and I’d have to go at least to Devon, but here we are, at the farm that forgot the time. To come and go, you don’t have to go past my home or into my garden, I think people find the hideaway quite adequately private. It's a bit busier these days..

Set in a picturesque village with miles of country walks, this detached Summer House is located just a few minutes walk from the village centre where you will find a local pub, tea room, village store and Italian delicatessen . From its position you will enjoy beautiful views of rolling countryside and access to walks on your doorstep, as well as several National Trust places like Sissinghurst and Scotney Castle close by.
