Donegal Thatch Cottage

Paddys thatched cottage is a recently renovated property built circa 1880 set on 7 acres of farmland & still retains the original features/character including the internal exposed stone wall & large fireplace making it very cosy. This area is very popular for trail walking in the hills or the purpose built walkways. Outdoor activities are plentiful such as kayaking, sea swimming, guided rock climbing & golfing. If the weather doesn't permit you can always light the stove & put the feet up.

Minutes from the Wild Atlantic Way, Ballycannon cottage is a great choice for exploring Donegal’s many wonders.

Teach Barney in the stunning North West of Donegal 1km from Gaeltacht Village of Falcarragh with views of the mountains and the ocean. The house is comfortable with a large private decked area. Visitors can enjoy walking/cycling on many miles of marked walks including the disused single gauge railway. The pristine beaches, ocean and mountains are within minutes of the house, ideal for deep sea fishing, surfing, kayaking, boat trips, guided walks, mountain climbing and cycling.

It is a 15 min drive to Donegal Airport and the beautiful weather blue flag beach of Carrickfinn. In local nearby village of Kincasslagh which is only a 5 min drive you have the Viking bar & restuarant, and also supermarket and post office.

Teach Johnny Shéain

A traditional cottage with living area and hearth at its centre and a double room and shower room flank either side. It rests in the heart of the Gaeltacht on a laneway 1km from the village of Gortahork. It is shaded by majestic trees, a vegetable garden and views of Magheraroarty beach. The Poison Glen and Errigal mountain are within 10 minutes drive. The cottage is at the heart of a variety of outdoor pursuits, cultural experiences and nature itself.

Restored Sheep Farmer's Cottage -Wild Atlantic Way

This tastefully restored formed Sheep Farmer's cottage is ideal base for your visit to Donegal. Located on the Wild Atlantic Way just outside the village of Kilcar with Sleive League to the West and Killybegs and Donegal town to the south. This is an ideal place to settle into for a night or two and return to each evening after visiting the beautiful Donegal countryside. There are wonderful views from the cottage of Sleive League (Sliabh Liag) beyond.
