A 200-year-old church hall, transformed into a uniquely spacious & stylish townhouse, accommodating 4 guests in comfort. Terracotta flooring throughout with underfloor heating and a solid-fuel stove. The open-plan layout consists of a fully equipped kitchen and a double-height living/dining area. The bedroom has a King-size bed (200cmx150cm) and en-suite bathroom with shower. If you love the ocean, you will love this place. It is an ocean front property looking out at the Bere Island Lighthouse and Harbour’s Mouth. This is a very quiet and private house on a one- acre property within a 15-minute walking distance to the center of Castletownbere. Entrance is thru a private automatic gate and has a slipway to the sea. This is a beautiful area to go canoeing, fishing, and swimming. Seals can be seen from time to time as can the fishing boats going out to sea.

The Old Post Office (Urhan)

We have refurbished this fabulous old building in Urhan using local craftsmen. The building was originally a national school for many years from 1884. It then became a post office and shop for over 40 years. There are fabulous views of the sea at the front and views of the mountains at the rear of the property. It is very close to the Urhan Pub (less than 100 metres) so you can wander down for a pint of Guinness or a glass of wine and take in the breath-taking views of Coulagh bay.

Island View sleeps 12. It is a 6-bedroom property with amazing uninterrupted views across Roaring Water Bay, to Heir and Sherkin Islands, Baltimore and Cape Clear. Cunnamore Pier and the regular passenger ferries to Heir Island and, in the summer, Sherkin Island is a few minutes further down the road. There are beaches with safe swimming very close by as well as opportunities to moor small dinghy’s and sailing craft. Island View is a 15 minute drive from Skibbereen.

The Fastnet Cottage and Knockagullane, along with a double bedroom located above the boathouse, are available to rent separately or in any combination. The family’s main house is not rented out.
