Step back in time in Historic Gardiner - This 2nd floor 1,000 s.f. studio boasts six bright sunny windows and looks directly across at Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center. Walking access to Restraunts, Shopping, A Brewery, Gardiner Waterfront Park/Kennebec River Boat Launch, and steps from the Kennebec River Rail Trail, which connects Gardiner to the Capital. Our building is tastefully remodled while still reflecting its character and charm, origianlly built in 1854!

BREEZE, in a tree The Appleton Retreat

BREEZE Treehouse, at The Appleton Retreat is located on 120 acres of private land, bordered by 1,300 acres of a protected nature conservancy. To the south is the Pettengill Stream a resource protected area and to the north a large secluded pond. BREEZE does not have a hot tub but guests may reserve the sauna, which is close by and private. The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.

Sleeps 4 adults or a family—queen bed, loft queen mattress, and pullout couch. Small kitchenette with flat-top and toaster oven. Easy I-295 access, EV charger, and parking. Expect some highway noise. Bring your own watercraft—public boat launch nearby for river adventures!
