We are walking distance to downtown offerings (less than ½ mile!),  ½ mile to Galax  New River Trail entry, and 1 mile from Felts Park, which hosts the annual World’s Largest Old Time Fiddlers Convention every August. Downtown offerings include The Rex Theater, BBQ, coffee shops, Antique shops, boutique shops, and Chestnut Creek School of the Arts.

Our favorite place to slow down and enjoy the beautiful place we live. Quiet, peaceful, and simple. Hang out on the porch and just listen to Chestnut Creek or go down to the water to play or fish. Walk or bike to the adjacent park to play at the playground or cross the bridge to access the New River Trail (part of the New River Trail State Park). It's the perfect place to just rest or to get out and enjoy southwest Virginia.
