Gulkana River Ranch Bed and Breakfast

Our place is right on The Gulkana River. You’ll love our sauna, skiing, and 77-acre homestead. We are off the grid (no electricity), but have a sink, wood stove (we start for you), clean outhouse (no indoor toilet) and plenty of water that we haul for you. Outdoor shower is very rustic. Gulkana River Ranch is a haven for those wishing to be close to nature and experience bush Alaska as it used to be. Mod cons quite limited: Instagram-worthy photos plentiful:) Adventure awaits the hearty soul!

Copperville B & B - Wrangell Plus up to 9 Guests

Keep the family together with both the Mt. Wrangle Apartment upstairs and either Wolf Room and or Fox Room downstairs in our house You may reserve the apartment and up to two more queen rooms for a total of 9 people. Wolf and Fox Rooms share a bath. The number of rooms and beds are determined by the number of guests. 6 guests or less get one additional room, or 3 queen beds and a futon. 7 or more guests get two additional rooms, 4 queen beds and a Futon. Book early to be sure of availability.

Mountain View house

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Enjoy beautiful view of the wrangle mountain range in the backyard off the covered patios. Washer/dryer provided, house is operated with a water holding tank that holds approximately 450 gallons of water. More water can be provided if need at water delivery rate($100). Kenny lake mercantile is located 6 miles down the road that has many amenities and convenience items as well as a hardware store(Wengers) approximately 9 miles away.

An "Earthly Paradise" we think so! Our custom built log home sits on a high bluff overlooking the mighty Copper River with a jaw-dropping view of the Wrangell Mtns. You will have a spectacular panoramic view of Mt. Sanford & Mt Drum. Our 2 bedroom log home built with trees from the property will be perfect to base your Alaskan adventure. The very open floor plan of the house is the perfect spot for a family or group of very close friends to enjoy the beauty of the Copper Basin area.

Overlooking the Klutina River, this is the perfect home base for your outdoor adventures. Near the Wrangell- St. Elias National Park, a short drive (in Alaska terms!) from spectacular towns like Valdez and McCarthy, explore the best of Alaska’s interior lands. Walk or drive into Copper Center for a coffee, beer, or snack from the unique local establishments or fish for some of the biggest salmon in the world right out your back door. Excellent for groups of hunters and fishermen.

Entire log home guesthouse with private entrance

Rest at Alaska Golden Guesthouse, a modern, second story log home, close to world class fishing, rafting, and Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. Located on our family homestead circa 1963, this is Grammie's home with some mobility aids available. Centrally located in the Copper River Country, this is a great base to explore the region or take day trips to Valdez, McCarthy, or Nabesna. The region is beautiful and full of history and culture. We are happy to share it with you.

Gulkana River Cabin - Located Close To River

Nicely furnished rustic cabin nestled among large spruce trees. Located approximately 3/4 mile from the Gulkana River (12 miles north of Glennallen). Cabin is also located just 8 miles from Gakona/Copper River. Beautiful views of the magnificent Wrangell Mountains abound in the area. Guests arriving before May 1 must bring water, lighting, some firewood and access may be difficult due to snow and a sled may be required for part of the 1/3 mile distance from the highway.

Dry Cozy Cabin. Please read description.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located studio cabin. Half-way between Anchorage and Valdez. Near Wrangell St Elias park and world class fishing. A dry cabin with drinking water provided and an outhouse on the site. Please note there is electricity. There is a fine for smoking/vaping in cabin. Mosquitoes are out of my control. There is a 3 gallon jug of drinking water and a propane tank for the BBQ provided.

Quaint one-room Alaska cabin close to adventure!

Excellent cabin to rest, recover, and base your Alaskan adventures out of! The cabin is small (16′ x 12′) with space for three guests (full and twin bed.) A small kitchenette allows for light food prep (no oven or stove but does have microwave and mini fridge). Coffee and tea is provided. Enjoy a hot shower at the end of your day, and sleep soundly with the help of blackout curtains.
