Positioned in a quiet cul-de-sac directly opposite a beach path to Toogoom's best swimming hole and fishing spot and just a hop, skip and a jump from local cafes. Catch the coastal breezes on the large deck or enjoy a cold beverage in the home's quirky Beach Bar with your family and friends. Your pets are welcome too (outside only), and there is plenty of room to store your boat. Free kayak hire.

Enjoy the lovely 7-acre gardens and fruit trees with river access and dams with birdlife. Have BBQ with outdoor sitting area or sit around the large fire pit. A peaceful quiet location between Maryborough and Hervey Bay in the peaceful river view.

The Cove Retreat- Pet Friendly Oceanfront Studio

This unique pet friendly property is absolute oceanfront. It has the main residence and two private fully self contained apartments. Our friendly managers Jan and Steve and their little dog Charlie live on site. This comfortable apartment on ground floor has great ocean views from the bedroom. Pets are very welcome we just ask that they are not left unattended. We offer doggie sitting at very reasonable rates. All of the shared outdoor areas including the firepit, overlook the ocean.

Join Sally for an early morning bird watch or bird count from the main house verandah, wander the back paddocks, and take in the glorious sunsets. We’re just 8 km from the heritage city of Maryborough, 35 minutes from Hervey Bay, and about an hour and a half from Rainbow Beach. Or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the peace and quiet (except for some noisy birds).

This airy modern home is a twist on the classic Hamptons style beach house, sleeps a maximum of 9 people and with all the essentials supplied, such as bed linen, towels, beach towels and pantry staples - it's your home, away from home.

Mary River farm cottage

The Cottage has one bedroom with a queen bed, a sofa bed, a bathroom and a small kitchen, with a gas BBQ on verandah. Its suitable for a small family. It has Air-con. The farm has a herd of cows and some cultivated fields. There is a kilometer of Mary River frontage with bird, rare lungfish, frogs and platypus. There are large areas of scenic bush walking. Our place is dog friendly, but prefer the dog to stay outside in the secure enclosure on verandah.

Hi. Welcome to 'Toogoom on the Beach'. Toogoom, means "a place of rest". Toogoom is 12 km from Hervey Bay which offers all the amenities of a modern city. You will have your own private self-contained flat with a swimming pool at your door and the beach 30 metres away. Guests get their own self contained 2 bedroom unit. The unit / yard is fully enclosed and totally pet friendly. Outside of the yard they have unlimited beach to play on.

It is located in a quiet street, close to all that Maryborough has to offer, and less than 30 minutes from Hervey Bay, the gateway to Fraser Island and whale watching. NBN ready. The cabin shares a driveway with Churchill Cottage.
