The Coon Creek Camping Cabin is a remote and rustic cabin in the Medicine Bow mountain range. This cabin is for the adventurous camper who wants to get off the beaten path. It has aerial views as well as trail head access and close to the Sand Dunes. Free Trailhead parking with a short 3 minute hike to your cabin (recommend packing light). Enjoy the quiet beauty of nature in this truly Wild place. Hike into the Non motorized areas of the State Forest or bring your ATVs for some fun in the Sand.

In Medicine Bow National Forest Outdoor activities include: Endless ATV trails Rail Trail bike trail Lakes - Rob Roy, Owen, Miller Snowmobile Year-round road access Plentiful Wildlife Large groups are effortless Original rental fee is 6 people - with access to front portion of cabin. Cleaning charge is a one-time fee. When renting to more than 6, each additional person is an additional $50 with an additional cleaning fee of $60. Parties under 6 may use bunkhouse for extra $60 cleaning fee.

We have dozens of games for your whole family, are close to trails and lakes, and have a fully equipped kitchen and coffee bar (including a coffee grinder). We have great internet, making it easy to work remotely if you'd like! We know you'll love it up here as much as we do!

The Marmots, will often make an appearance. Wildlife abounds, moose, deer, elk pronghorn, bear, wolf and fox as well as many species of bird call this special place home. The spacious deck overlooks the forest and the mountains as well as the warm water ponds.
