Utstein Lodge ligger nydelig plassert nede ved Klostervågen på Utstein Gard. Garden omkranser Utstein Kloster og utgjør storparten av øya Utstein. The cottage is quiet and idyllic located, about 35 minutes from the city, a great starting point for trips in the area, at sea, on foot or by bike. It is located in scenic surroundings with stunning panoramic views and a short way to the beach. You have to walk about 100m in terrain from the parking. ( Some may find it steep.) You also get access to the boathouse with a small living room and private beach. Motor boat, 2kajaks and one SUP board for rent. Photos, homemade juice and jam for sale.

At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

God plass for å komme litt bort fra hverdagen. Hytten ligger uforstyrret til i en liten skog, ca 1 km å gå til nærmeste butikk. Egen parkering, litt bratt sti (ca 50 m) fra parkering og opp til hytte. 5 minutter til nærmeste busstopp og 15 minutter til kaien der hurtigbåten legger til. Vann med kanoutleie 150 meter fra hytten, 200 meter andre veien til sjøen, tilgang til frilagerutstyr der også. Er det interesse for alpint er det ca en time til sauda og 2,5 timer til røldal.

Relax in quiet surroundings. This cabin has no running water og electricity. What the cabin does have, is great hiking opportunities and a lake you can swim and fish in close by. Let go of everyday stress and just relax. You will have to bring your own bed linen, towels and water. You can rent bed linens for 150 NOK. During spring, summer and fall there is a small creek near the cabin where you can get water. We will provide firewood for the fireplace.
