In onze straat en in de directe omgeving zijn verschillende gezellige horecagelegenheden. Op loopafstand is er een bioscoop en een theater en zijn er gezellige terrasjes. Ook kun je het Stedelijk Museum op loopafstand vinden en zijn er stadswandelingen te doen o.l.v. een gids. Op 5 minuten lopen afstand ligt de IJssel waar je lekker kunt uitwaaien.
