The house off the beaten track. If you want be totally alone in the woods in a house steeped in history, this is the place. Most of the inventory is historically and intact. A mini museum. Close by the house runs a river where you can fish small trout or swim. There are several nice waterfalls close by. Hiking trails up the mountain starts just 200 m from the house. Take out our canoe or try your luck fishing! Designed by a famous local architect with a focus on bringing the wild Norwegian nature back into our modern lives.

Seafront retreat - pier, boatrental & fishing camp

You will have full access to the whole downstairs apartment of 125m2 in total. 3 bedrooms and a large living room stands at your disposal. Outside you have your own private backyard with lots of outdoor games. From the pier you can fish, rent boat or swim. There is a 98l freezer box where you can store the fish you catch or any other food. Through our boat rental company, we are a lisenced fish camp. This means you can export up to 18kg of fish per fisherman with you out of Norway.

Solnedgangen er spektakulær om vinteren, mens du i de lange, lyse sommerkveldene kan nyte en avslappende og komfortabel stemning i og utenfor Birdboxen. Bergen Birdbox er plassert på beitet til Øvre Haukås Gård, der sauer går hele året. Om våren kan du være heldig og oppleve panoramautsikt til lammingen.

Bergen is 30 min drive by car, bus availabe 1 km walk from the house. I speak English, German and Norwegian.
