A romantic, peaceful getaway set in a secluded, private garden shared only with rabbits and the odd fox, there are no other guests. It is located within the Great Orme Country Park with breath-taking views out over the Conwy estuary and the Snowdonia mountain ranges. Walk out of the garden gate to explore miles of trails with stunning scenery, or take a 15 min stroll down into the beautiful Victorian town of Llandudno.

Enjoy the rustic charm of Colwyn Cabin, set in its own private grounds by a fast flowing river fed by Snowdon. Colwyn Cabin sleeps up to 2 guests. The accommodation comprises of an open plan lounge kitchen area with views over your garden. one double bedroom 4’6” bed and en-suite shower room. We do offer stays from 2 night out of the busy season, so always contact us to ask, pets welcome. Wi fi and phone signal is limited because of our position but the natural beauty and walking is glorious.

Walking from the door leads you to an old drovers track, or higher up through bilberry scrub to Cnicht, the Welsh Matterhorn, or along lanes and paths to secluded swimming spots in rivers and lakes.

Gwêl y Sêr (See the stars)

Nestled between the mountains and the sea is Gwêl y Sêr (see the stars). A beautiful cabin where you can switch off and listen to the sounds of nature. On dark nights in winter the milky way can be seen from outside, hence the name. The cabin is located in a central spot in North Wales, we are 2 miles from the closest beach and 1 mile from the mountains. We are also in a central location for access to both zipworlds, as well as close distance to Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)

With stunning views of Snowdon the cottage has the Rhyd Ddu path, the Welsh Highland steam railway, Y Garn & Nantlle ridge on its doorstep. The cottage was refurbished in 2017 to a high standard. There are 2 wood burners, fully equipped kitchen with large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine & microwave. Excellent WIFI, Sky Q, walking guide books. Included is an initial supply of kindling, paper and logs. The Cwellyn Arms pub is just a few steps away.

The Pond and Stars Cabin
